Luz

Not much to record today as it was intended to be a day away from the tourist trail and a little more relaxing - that would make a good Tui ad!!!!

This morning we took the car to the Luz Shopping Centre which is 4 kms from the hotel.

I'm not sure how one describes Luz but I'll start by saying in area it is huge - bigger than anything in and around Auckland!

I recorded per the iPhone app that I walked 5.2kms around, back and forward, crisscrossing, in and out of shops during the 5 hours we were there. Luz has a number of outlet shops, non-outlet shops as well as a restaurant zone of around 10 restaurants and fast food outlets.

By the time we had finished it was well into siesta time and the temperature recorded on the 3008 as we drove back was 41 degrees but in truth we didn't need to see a gauge to know it was bloody hot!🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞

It wasn't long before we were relaxing in the pool for the first relaxation of the day, a pool that others had left just for us!

Tomorrow we return to the UK!
